We’re heading into Week 2 of our Unity Drive, and we’ve raised $8,675 toward our $35,000 goal! That’s 24% of the way there, but we need a BIG week!
One of the most common questions we get is, “What does the PTA fund, and why should I contribute to the Unity Drive?”
Here’s a little glimpse of the incredible impact our PTA has already made from August through October:
💚 Teacher meals, school supplies, and spirit wear
💚 Freshly painted hallways and a remodeled teachers’ lounge
💚 Student field trips and Trunk or Treat candy
💚 Our Taji Unity breakfast and RCA Spirit Store
💚 Dance and advanced drumline coaches
💚 Morning club supplies and our Glen Allen Parade flags
💚 Music speakers for pep rallies, schoolwide parades, and House Achievement
💚 Robes for our 5th Grade Convocation and candles for our Shine Your Light ceremony
💚 Signs to improve arrival and dismissal safety
And that’s just the beginning! Our PTA helps bring so much of the Greenwood experience to life, creating meaningful memories and opportunities for our students and staff.
Here’s where we need YOU! Out of 740 Greenwood students, only 116 are currently registered for the Unity Drive. That’s just 16% participation. Imagine what we could accomplish if every family joined in!
Every contribution makes a difference, and 100% of the funds raised go directly toward creating an incredible experience for our students at Greenwood.
Let’s show the Power of Us! Register your student and help us reach our $35,000 goal!
