YES! We are back in school tomorrow! We wanted to share a few important updates as we prepare for our return.
Student Arrival
School doors will open for car drop-off at 9:10 AM. Buses will arrive two hours later than their normal time. Please anticipate possible delays and thank you for your patience.
Breakfast
Breakfast will be available for all students from 9:10–9:40 AM. Please note that lunch will begin as early as 10:00 AM for select grade levels due to our adjusted schedule.
Morning Clubs
All morning clubs are cancelled. Morning clubs are not held on two-hour delay days.
Character Trait Ceremony
Tomorrow’s Character Trait Ceremony is cancelled. The ceremony has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 7:20 AM. This information will also be communicated directly to all award-winning families by Mrs. Melton and Mrs. Johnson. Please note: Mr. Stein’s K–2 Morning Club will be cancelled on Thursday, February 19 due to the rescheduled ceremony.
Author Visit (Grades 3–5)
We are excited to welcome an author tomorrow from 10:30–11:15 AM in the gym for students in grades 3–5. Due to this special event, adjustments have been made to our two-hour delay schedule, outlined below.

All In Tutoring
All In Tutoring will take place tomorrow, Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 2:20–3:30 PM. Please note that Thursday, February 12 tutoring is cancelled. Ms. Beecher has already communicated this information to students and staff.There is no All In morning tutoring on two-hour delay days
Asynchronous Work
Thank you for supporting your child with asynchronous work. If any assignments were not completed, teachers will provide time during arrival, lunch, or indoor recess for students to finish their work.
Indoor Recess
Please plan for indoor recess all week. Due to cold temperatures remaining below freezing, students will not go outside for recess.
Musical Performance Rescheduled
Due to missing two weeks of practice, our Black History Month musical performance has been rescheduled for Friday, February 20 at 8:00 AM.
February 2–6: Counselor Appreciation Week
Please help us celebrate our amazing school counselors, Mrs. Melton and Mrs. Johnson! With only two days remaining, let’s continue to shower them with love and appreciation.
Friday, February 6 – Spilling the Tea with Mr. Stein @ 9:00 AM
I still plan to host Spilling the Tea with Mr. Stein this Friday.
