Students are expected to always wear their IDs visibly.
The Student ID is essential for operational services (such as riding the bus, attendance tracking, purchasing lunch, clinic visits, and checking out library books).

Annual Canned Food Drive
Friday, November 14 is the final day to donate to our annual canned food drive. Thank you for helping us support families in need this season!
Morning Club Reminder
We’ve noticed an increase in students arriving to morning clubs after 7:25 AM. Please remember that club doors close at 7:25 AM so students can fully participate, learn their routines, and practice their skills. Morning clubs are designed to give students a meaningful and focused experience, and arriving on time is essential. If a student misses two club sessions in one quarter, they will be removed from the club to allow others the opportunity to participate.
International Night – Seeking a Dance Performance
We are looking for a special group to help close out our International Night celebration on Thursday, December 11 at 7:25 PM. In previous years, we’ve enjoyed incredible performances from Bollywood, Irish Dancing, and more! If you or your group are interested in performing, please email kepisciotta@henrico.k12.va.us.
Friday, November 14 - Gator Bash and Report Cards
Grades 3–5 will attend the Gator Bash in the gym from 7:20–7:45 AM. Q1 report cards will also go home in green take-home folders. Thank you for reviewing with your child and setting goals for Q2.
Thursday, November 20 – RCA Spirit Store Closes
The RCA Spirit Store will close on Thursday, November 20. We hope you had a chance to visit the store with your child at https://app.rcahousepoints.com/login.
Friday, November 21 – Character Trait Ceremony
We will celebrate our Character Trait award winners on Friday, November 21 at 7:20 AM in the gym. Families are welcome to join us for this special recognition! These award winners will also be invited to join our Gratos Unity Day breakfast on November 25 at 7:15 AM.
Monday, November 24 – House Advisory Committee Meeting
Students in the House Advisory Committee will stay after school on Monday, November 24. They will help fulfill and distribute Spirit Shop orders purchased by their peers.
Tuesday, November 25 – House Gratos Unity Day
Join us for a special breakfast from 7:15–7:45 AM for all members of House Gratos—parents are invited! We’ll continue the celebration with our annual Unity Day Pep Rally and Turkey King or Queen Assembly, so don’t forget to wear GREEN!

Thanksgiving Turkey Trot - CLICK HERE
We are excited to host the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 27, from 9:00–9:45 AM. Students and families are invited to join us on the Greenwood track to run, jog, or walk together for 30 minutes. This event is a fun way to celebrate community, movement, and the spirit of Thanksgiving as a Greenwood family.
