We are thrilled to introduce our newest kindergarten teacher, Ms. Ashley Wilson! With our booming kindergarten enrollment, we are so grateful that Henrico County provided us with an additional teacher — and we truly struck gold with Ms. Wilson joining the Gator family!
Meet Ms. Wilson
Ms. Wilson is entering her third year of teaching and her first year as a Greenwood Gator! She graduated from James Madison University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and double minors in Elementary Education and Educational Media. In 2023, she earned her master’s degree in the Art of Teaching. Her goal is to create a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and part of a strong community — a place where questions and mistakes are celebrated as opportunities to grow, and where students discover the magic of YET! She is passionate about helping students thrive not only academically, but also in their social-emotional development and life skills. Outside the classroom, Ms. Wilson enjoys spending time outdoors, playing volleyball, tending to her plants, and making memories with family and friends.
