Greenwood Parents

We are excited about our Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, January 30, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Teachers will send out sign-ups on Tuesday, January 21 via Parent Square, at 12:00 PM. PK-1st grade will offer 15-minute timeslots, while 2nd-5th grade will have 10-minute timeslots with both instructional teachers meeting together.

If you have no academic or behavior concerns but would still like to check in, we encourage you to reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule a phone or virtual conference on a different date and time that would take place during teacher contract hours (7:15 - 2:50 PM) on an agreed time before February 7. To ensure a successful meeting, we recommend bringing specific questions or concerns you’d like to discuss, as this helps maximize the value of your time with the teacher.

We strongly recommend that families of students who did not achieve House Achievement sign up for an in-person Parent-Teacher Conference to discuss strategies for success in the 2nd semester. Additionally, we encourage families of students participating in our All In Tutoring program to schedule a conference to review progress and goals. Families with students who are showing a need for additional support or those experiencing changes in academic or behavioral performance should also prioritize attending. These conversations will help ensure that every student is on track to achieve their best and reach their full potential.

Our hope is to reserve in-person meetings on January 30 for families with concerns about their child’s progress. To make the most of your conference, consider discussing strategies for supporting learning at home or asking about opportunities for enrichment or additional challenges your child might benefit from.

Thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s learning and growth. We value your involvement and look forward to collaborating with you during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Together, we can make this a meaningful opportunity to celebrate achievements, address challenges, and set your child up for continued success.
