Greenwood Families,
We have another exciting week ahead at Greenwood! Please read these updates carefully. We know there’s a lot to share, but our goal is to ensure you have everything you need to fully engage in this incredible Greenwood experience.
Sunday, October 27: Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting
Join us for our PAC meeting tonight at 8:00 p.m. CLICK HERE to access the meeting.
Morning Clubs
Please CLICK HERE to register for our 2nd quarter morning clubs. Students who are not enrolled in a morning club can join morning choice activities in the classroom. Thank you for ensuring your child arrives on time, supporting our "Win the Morning" philosophy.
Green Take-Home Folders
Thank you for reviewing your child’s take-home folder each week. Every Friday, graded papers are sent home, providing a great opportunity to review any missed items on assessments. The green folder also contains our Daily Report, tracking student behaviors. Please remember that students who receive 6 X’s or one Discipline Referral will be removed from all clubs and House Achievement, and receive an “N” on their report card for Work Conduct.
Volunteer Opportunities
If you couldn’t join us during the 1st marking period, we’d love to have your help in the 2nd! We’re always looking for volunteers to assist with morning car door duty from 7:15 to 7:40 AM and in the cafeteria from 10:00 AM to 12:50 PM. Your involvement truly makes a difference! Sign up for a full or half-day at Greenwood to support essential tasks such as delivering items to classrooms, printing and copying materials, reading to the Gators, and monitoring the lunchroom! Competition Shirts
If your child has been selected to compete on the Greenwood Basketball, Soccer, or KEVA Plank team against other schools in the Richmond area, they will need to purchase our black competition team shirt from the main office for $10. This shirt is required for participation in competitions.
1st Quarter Parent-Teacher Conferences
Teachers have opened in-person conference sign-ups for November 7. This is a valuable chance to discuss your child’s academic and behavior goals.
