Monday, January 8 - One School, One Book Release
We're thrilled to announce that our entire school will embark on an exciting reading journey with the book The Magnificent Makers: How to Test a Friendship by Theanne Griffith! This One School, One Book initiative aims to foster a sense of community and shared experience among students, staff, and families while promoting a love for reading and sparking engaging discussions about the book's themes.

Wednesday, January 10 - Parent Dance - Kula Unity Day Performance
Attention to all parents with a student in House Kula! Get ready for an exciting surprise dance performance at our Kula Unity Day pep rally on January 19, 2024, starting at 8:45 AM. This fantastic idea, aimed at showcasing our Kula spirit to the entire school, was initiated by a group of enthusiastic moms. To make this happen, our school's dance coach, Eleanor Robertson, will be leading a session to teach a simple and enjoyable routine to our Kula parents. Join us on Wednesday, January 10, from 6 to 7 PM in the music room to learn the routine and be part of this amazing event! If you're eager to join in the fun, please sign up HERE. Let's make our Kula Unity Day memorable and full of spirit!

Thursday, January 11 - Fearless After School Practice
We're excited to announce a mandatory practice for all our Fearless performers in the gym after school. Your child's participation and attendance are crucial for our upcoming event's success. Please arrange to pick up your child at 3:30 PM in the bus loop after the practice. To ensure a smooth transition, kindly send in a transportation change note to your child’s teacher before Thursday, specifying the arrangements for after-school pickup. Attendance after school is an expectation for all performers. Your cooperation in facilitating transportation changes is greatly appreciated and essential for our planning purposes. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Smith at lvsmith@henrico.k12.va.us. Your support is invaluable as we prepare for this event.

All In Tutoring Update
There is no “All In” tutoring this week. We will resume on Tuesday, January 16 and Thursday, January 18. Any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Beck at dpbeck1@henrico.k12.va.us
