One of our 1st quarter morning clubs with Mrs. Barlett made designs to produce our very own Greenwood shoe. We are asking all students, parents, and teachers to vote on their favorite design by Thursday, November 9. We will then put an order form in our student’s green take home folders on November 10. The order form will be due by Friday, November 17 @ 8 AM.

Our school will be collecting cans again to for our community. We will donate our collected cans to the Henrico Christmas Mother and the YMCA, which directly supports our Greenwood community. Thank you for your support with this community service project. We are so much more than just a school. We are truly a family.
Wednesday, November 8 - Alumni vs Staff Dodgeball Tournament
We need all our cheerleaders and bucket drumline in the gym from 7:20 - 7:45 AM to cheer on our staff as they take down our alumni in a dodgeball match!
Wednesday, November 8 - Magic of Music Tryouts
We look forward to seeing all our students that registered to try out for the Magic of Music 1990s themed music from 7:20 - 7:45 AM in the music room.

We invite all our families to join a group of parents from 7:20 - 7:50 a.m.in the Greenwood library. Our PAC is ready to assist with your questions about everything Greenwood. This is a safe place.

Friday, November 10: Veteran’s Day 2nd Grade Performance @ 8:15 AM
We are excited to have our Greenwood families, and especially our veterans, attend our PTA meeting on Friday, November 10 @ 8:15 a.m. Our second graders will be performing during this special Veterans Day program.
Friday, November 10: Lost and Found Donation
We extended our lost and found donation from the 1st quarter to go out this Friday, November 10. Therefore, if you are missing an item, please check our lost and found this week.
Saturday, November 11 - Greenwood House Soccer Tournament and 804 Soccer Cup
We are very excited about the 100+ Greenwood gators competing at SCOR from 3-4:45 PM. Please arrive by 2:45 PM in your house shirt with shinguards, soccer socks, shorts, and tennis shoes/cleats.
We also wish our competitive 4th/5th grade soccer team good luck as they compete against 12 other schools from 5 - 7 PM. These students will need their teal soccer shirt.
Your student will not be allowed to participate in either tournament if they have not completed online registration at https://shorturl.at/cjJMT
The Talent Show
The Greenwood Talent Show is coming to our campus on December 21, 2023. CLICK HERE for Registration and tryout information.
Taji Community Service Project- Friday, November 17th 6:30 - 7:30 PM
House Taji will be decorating the cafeteria for our Friendsgiving event on Monday, Nov. 21st, and we will also be organizing and putting some holiday food bags together for our school community! Gifted Referral Window
The gifted referral window will be open from Wednesday, November 1, through Friday, November 17, at 4PM. During this time, students may be referred to the gifted identification process by an educator, parent/guardian, community member, peer, or self. By submitting a referral, you are requesting your child be evaluated to determine eligibility for gifted services. To begin a referral, use the Gifted Referral Collection Form to communicate your referral to school staff. Gifted referrals will not be accepted after 4PM on Friday, November 17.
