Virtual Lesson Update

Good Afternoon Greenwood Families,

We hope your distant learning experience is going well with the packets that were provided by central office. We have also enjoyed seeing the faces of some of our gators in our live virtual activities provided throughout this week. Unfortunately, we have recently experienced some technical difficulties with using the ZOOM application for our live scheduled activities. Therefore, moving forward for the rest of this week, our school wide ZOOM activities and pep rally will be prerecorded, which allows all students the capability to watch them at a time convenient for your family. You can find these videos on our school website and social media platforms at 12:00 PM daily. We will still look forward to having you share your final products with us by emailing your teachers or posting on social media.

Go Gators!

Friday Stein Time

Friday Stein Time
March 27, 2020
Our principal, Mr. Stein, wanted to offer three different opportunities for our gators to have some fun together virtually. Our gators will be expected to use their gator values during these virtual sessions if you chose to participate. We are also asking that all student computers enter the meeting on mute. This is very important as we anticipate a large group of students participating. Throughout the meeting, there will be times Mr. Stein will call on students to share, and he will unmute their computers.
Thank you! See you tomorrow!

Resources for Families

Greenwood School Counseling
We know there is much uncertainty right now, but we believe it is important for all of us to take care of ourselves and our families. While we are away to ensure we are staying physically healthy, we also want to make sure we are taking care of our mental and emotional health. During this time, we understand many different feelings and thoughts can arise. We want to provide resources to help support you and your families while we are navigating this period away from Greenwood. Here are a few links to resources on how to talk to our students about the Coronavirus, how to deal with fear and anxiety, mindfulness strategies, coping skills, and educational activities.
