Summer Camp at Greenwood Elementary School – Open to all rising 1st – 6th graders.
Looking for a summer camp option! Greenwood will be hosting an incredible program from 7:30 – 6:00 PM, Monday – Thursday, and June 12- July 27! Click HERE to register. 

Thursday, March 16 – Spilling the Tea – Click here to join Spilling the Tea @ 3PM
During this virtual session of Spilling the Tea, Mr. Stein will answer any questions that were submitted ahead of time and talk about our upcoming school events in March and April.  Submit a Question/Concern

Thursday, March 16 – Dinner on the Green & Kindergarten Performance @ 6 PM
Wear your green and get ready for a special night at Greenwood starting at 6 PM.

Friday, March 17 – Picture Day
Students may wear whatever they want for their individual and group photos. Look good! 

Friday, March 17 – Buddies with Books with House Gratos
All House Gratos members in grades K-5th in the gym from 7:30-7:45 AM for a special activity with Mrs. Farmer, our 3rd grade teacher and Reading Specialist. 

Friday, March 17 – Chillin’ & Grillin’
We are ecstatic to host a special lunch event for our teachers on Friday, March 17! If you would like to contribute any beverages towards our teacher luncheon (sodas, ice tea, Celsius, water, lemonades, and etc), please drop off your supplies/donation by March 16 in the main office. 

Thursday, March 23 – Students vs Staff Basketball Game @ 6 PM @ Hungry Creek Middle School
Save the date! One of our school highlights is the students vs staff basketball game on Thursday, March 23! We will have special performances from our bucket drumline, ADL, dance, advanced dance, and step team! This is open to the entire family! 

HCPS Calendar Update
Recently, a March 28 special election was announced for the Virginia Senate’s 9th District which includes a portion of Henrico County. With more than two dozen schools used as polling places, this election will significantly impact school operations. Therefore, Tuesday, March 28, will be a student holiday and staff clerical day.
